Hola!! I don’t know why I have the feeling that this post is going to be a nice one and I hope you like it. It is not for someone in special it is about the people who you choose to be in your front row and what it happened is just a little example that things can be specials, you have to make them specials and keep them going in that way.
Yesterday I finished a three days trekking around mountains with an awesome person.
The morning after I returned from Auckland, which was 5 days ago, I took the train to Greymouth, which was an amazing journey, at Greymouth I stayed in duke hostel. At the beginning I was alone in a fourth bedroom, then a girl from Germany came up, meanwhile a crazy French girl left her luggage and finally another one from Germany.
After talking for a while with the girl from France, we merged our plans and we decided to go for a three days trekking and to pancake rocks.
The day after, we woke up and had breakfast, then we started walking to a junction where we were hitchhiking to Blockroll, which was the town where our trekking was starting. The sign that she draw to hitch
hike was a big smile saying wherever!. A very friendly and old couple from Tasmania gave us a first ride and a beautiful woman did the last ten km, whom I met again in a bank today and she gave me a beautiful hug when I told her she’d be in this post.
After the introduction, I’m going to describe a little about the French girl who I walked with in two different ways. The typical way to describe someone saying that her nick name was Didi, she was 20 years old, who had a cool boyfriend and originally from a small town from France but who was living in Paris for the past year before she came to New Zealand as an Au pair.
My second way to describe her is as a way that usually people used to use to describe me and it is different. I have three examples to demonstrate it: First in the beginning of the walk, and because she had much more weight than me I asked her, do you want me to carry with your backpack? she told me no, it is a good practice, however the day after we spread it. Secondly the first morning when she was brushing her teeth she told me: do you know everyone has to brush them teeth and it takes 2 or 5 minutes every day, being one of the first things that we do after we woke up, and there is lot of people who don’t enjoy it, I love to start my days brushing my teeth, was what she told me. Finally, when we were having our second dinner we talked about the feeling of be different and she said: I feel that if I’m in a plane, it is not going to crush because I’m in and I told her I think my case is even a little worse… if the plane crush I know I’m going to be one of the survivors…
I’m writing a very personal journal for when Benja is 10 or 15 years old, I know if we are good friends when he is a teenager we are going to be best friends for the rest of our lives. Juanx did the introduction and I let her to write on it, when she asked me to write her journal, I have no doubt she was special.
Except give us the hand during one of nights, nothing else happened, however we both know how special it was and how unforgettable is going to be…
When she asked me for my contact details I only gave her my full name. She went north and I came south, maybe life meet each other in the future, but we don’t know it.
Make what happened during three days special for a very long time is like putting Paris in a bottle and I don’t know with whom is going to happened but I know I’ll do it.
