Outstanding sales technology

Swedish Telecom has created one of the most revolutionary and outstanding sales support technologies that I have ever seen.

As the video below shows, the Chatroulette-like site was made possible with custom-built touch-screens. Now, the online salespeople are able to bring up images of phones the company sells and field questions about them.

According to their website, the site is the latest effort to bring a human element to web-based transactions, something businesses have been moving towards in recent years, thanks to social media.

The Wrong Stuff

In this Ted, Kathryn Schulz, shows how wrong we are when we don´t see the wonderfully side of the things that we do wrong. Realizing when we do things wrong is a step up, is evolve and grow and it´s interesting see how we behave when we find we have been wrong, and how our errors change us.

She´s the author of “Being Wrong: Adventures in the Margin of Error,” and the “The Wrong Stuff” if you want to go deeper in the subject.

Film festivals and Banff

Few weeks ago I attended the BANFF Mountain film festival, they showed 15 amazing cortos and they mentioned that some more were listed in their website. I took a look because there was one that I wanted to send to a friend in Buenos Aires and I found that some which were not presented in the festival were pretty cool.

Summer Pasteurs was one of them, it shows something that probably most of us will never see, nomad people in eastern Tibet, in some ways they remained me the gauchos, especially when he puts his knife into his belt.

Film festivals have a hard responsibility to select the best cortos to be showed. BANFF did a great job this year, but because is one of the best mountain film festivals in the world, most of the movies, which were not showed during the festival, were still excellent.

Hope you enjoy the best cortos of 2010 and  summer pastures.
