Lessons for Life is a project started by a friend from Los Angeles, her name is Snow White Bui. Yeap, her real name is Snow White Bui and is not a caricature from Disney.

Lessons for Life is a project to share life´s greatest lessons. Wouldn’t it be cool if we could have a wide-range of people from any culture, background or age sharing the three things they wish they knew when they were younger?

Few weeks ago, she asked me to share her project with some people that I knew and I asked her if I could post about her project on my blog. She agreed, so know everyone who is reading this post is invited to participate .

If you want to participate just:

Download and print the template to share your three things.

Hand-write the template (yeap there’s just something about the human touch that could not be replicate by any font yet).

Mail it: Lessons For Life Project, P.O. Box 4718, Culver City, CA 90231, United States. If mailing it is too difficult, you could try scanning/emailing to Snow White Bui

Check every Tuesday http://lessonsforlifeproject.com/. She´ll post up what others have written.

Thanks and cheers,

A Spanish NGO created pills against pain of others. They are sold exclusively on pharmacies and they donate profits to Doctors with out borders. The total cost of each of the boxes of pills is 9 cents of euro and they are sold for 1. Doctors without borders distributes net income to fund projects of Malaria, Tuberculosis, pediatric AIDS, Chagas and Kala Zar.

Few weeks ago I attended the BANFF Mountain film festival, they showed 15 amazing cortos and they mentioned that some more were listed in their website. I took a look because there was one that I wanted to send to a friend in Buenos Aires and I found that some which were not presented in the festival were pretty cool.

Summer Pasteurs was one of them, it shows something that probably most of us will never see, nomad people in eastern Tibet, in some ways they remained me the gauchos, especially when he puts his knife into his belt.

Film festivals have a hard responsibility to select the best cortos to be showed. BANFF did a great job this year, but because is one of the best mountain film festivals in the world, most of the movies, which were not showed during the festival, were still excellent.

Hope you enjoy the best cortos of 2010 and summer pastures.
