When I was a kid I remember that I wished to be an astronaut (lo admito como medio ñoño), with a friend we wrote from Piedra del Aguila, some letters to NASA asking for information, I still have what they sent me. Couple years later I changed my mind, economics was easier, and I didn’t become an astronaut; however one day I´d love to see the earth from the space.

Two important facts happened the past weeks:

NASA’s confirmed his plan to return to the moon by 2024. I always asked why no one have returned since 1972; Eugene Cernan, the commander of Apollo 17, became the last man to step foot on the moon, more than 36 years ago… The plan of Nasa is global access and anytime return by 2024.

Secondly on Monday 7th December, the world’s first commercial space-line, Virgin Galactic, unveiled Space Ship Two to the world at Mojave Spaceport, California.

Finally I want to share a video from Ted Talk, with minds like him ¨conquer¨ the moon is not going to be difficult, by the middle of the video starts the moon´s explanation but the begging is also very good to understand our place.
