I haven’t posted since our Auckland farewell party, which it was a cool dinner with some pizzas, couple beers and interesting conversations.

Saturday after it, I went to the airport and when I was ready to do the check in, the woman from the airline told me: you are not registry for this flight…. I checked my ticket and she was right, my ticket was for the day after. I went to couple other airlines and I found a good deal with one of them so 2 hour later I was finally leaving to Christchurch.

After I arrived I was starbing so I looked for a nice café where I can sit, grab a breakfast, check my email and read the newspaper. It was what I did except for checking my emails because Internet was not working properly so I hardly tried to fix it. I think because of my intention, the lady, who owned the café, told me when I wanted to pay, it is an invitation from the house, what I didn’t accept in the beginning, however and because she insisted, I thankfully accepted and I left a nice tip because of my muffin, my scramble eggs, the beautiful cup of tea and her intention.

After that, I went to Tony´s house, who I work with, he is really cool guy. He did a triathlon crossing NZ from cost to cost couple years ago. We went for a trekking and we had lunch at the port. The next day I took my train to Picton, which is in the north of the South island. The train arrived after all the taxi boats or kayak activates started and because I was returning the next day I frindly insisted to the german woman, who was working in the turist information center, to do any activity. She called a friend of her, who is in charge of the rural post delivery and she asked him if I can join him in his journey. He accepted and after delivering the newspapers he left me at Queen Charlotte Trek. I walked for an hour, pitched my tent and took a beautiful nap until 6 or 7 in the afternoon. When I woke up I realized that I didn’t do any of the treks so I took my torch and I started walking. In the begging I had natural light but before I started my return back, the darkness came out.

I walked for four or five hours in total and I remember a moment when I sitted, had some water, a cereal bar, contemplated the landscape and for first time in a very very long time I felt lucky.

The morning after, at 11 o’clock, I was meeting Adam, rural post delivery man, to return to Picton, where I was taking my bus to came back Christchurch.

Since I left Auckland, goes until my return from Picton to Christuchurch. I flew to Auckland for the day, the day after for an awsome meeting. Paris in a bottle is the next post, which is coming soon and it chronicles my last 5 days.
